(1) After each vehicle imported from abroad enters Nepal, the owner of the vehicle shall submit an application for entry registration in accordance with Section 13 of the Act in the format as per Schedule-1 at the police office at the point of entry.
(2) In relation to the application received under sub-rule (1), the concerned police office shall, after conducting the necessary investigation, register the entry of such vehicle to the applicant subject to the Act and other provisions mentioned in this regulation and give a copy of the vehicle entry registration to the owner of the vehicle in the format as per schedule-2.
